The Podiatry Team Cathy Davies, Clinical Director Cathy qualified as a podiatrist at the London Foot Hospital in 1988 and started working in a private practice. She then studied further for her BA(Hons) in health management and gaining her award in 1993. After a spell in NHS management, Cathy trained using radiosurgery and local anaesthesia, going on to teach fellow podiatrists in both these fields. Cathy ran the radiosurgery service at Merton and Sutton Primary Care Trust (PCT) before moving over to Kennington full time as the business expanded. Cathy has a wealth of experience in hospitals, care homes, community and education. Cathy completed an MSc in Population Health at UCL in 2023 and has published on her dissertation subject of Post Polio Syndrome. Study of her PhD, with the provisional title 'Barriers and Facilitators to the Diagnosis of Post Polio Syndrome' is due to commence at UCL in September 2024.
Natalie, Senior Podiatrist With first Class Honours and Highest Achieving Podiatrist prize from the University of East London. With a total of 20 years experience working in foot health Natalie has worked in a wide range of settings, in hospitals, NHS clinics care homes and, of course, here in Kennington. Having undertaken further training in vascular assessment, Natalie worked as a clinical specialist at CLCH Merton. In her free time she has a passion for travel and seeing the world, when she is not working she is planning her next trip.
Hollis, our MSK specialist podiatrist Hollis is an extremely highly qualified practitioner, he qualified firstly as a Registered nurse in 1999, going on to specialise in paediatric intensive care. He rose to become Charge Nurse in the Special Care Baby Unit / Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Whittington Hospital. Along the way he also achieved a Batchelor of Science, followed by Master of Science degrees in Physiology before studying Podiatry. Hollis is our biomechanics specialist, offering full biomechanical assessments and computer scanned bespoke orthoses. He tackles some of the more complicated biomechanics that we see, particularly helping sports enthusiasts and those with structural issues further up the body. He has also achieved qualifications in music production to support his hobby of music mixing.
Min, Pre-registration Podiatrist Min is our Postgraduate Preregistration podiatrist, having recently completed her MSc in Podiatry at Plymouth University. She also holds a First-Class Honours degree in Biomedical Science and has two years practical experience here at Kennington Chiropody and Podiatry.
Min is also Cathy’s daughter and has practically grown up in the practice. Long-standing patients may remember her as our receptionist during her student days.
Over the coming year, Min will gradually take on more complex treatments. You may be offered an appointment with her—rest assured, all treatments will be within her scope of training, fully insured, and supervised by the duty podiatrist.

Ann attained a HNC in Information & Communication Technology from Greenwich University and is also fully qualified in Customer Services. She previously managed a Registrars team responsible for registering Births, Deaths, Marriages, Civil Partnerships and organising Citizenship Ceremonies. Enjoys holidays, eating out, books and walking her recently adopted Greyhound.
Our Other Practitioners Mariana Dodig, Therapeutic Massage Mariana is a highly qualified massage therapist using aromatherapist experience and her ITEC diplomas. As a member of the IFPA (International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists) she is an avid subscriber to their codes of practice. Using massage to reduce stresses and tensions, she is able to help with chronic pain, improve muscle tone, boost the immune system and increase joint flexibility.
